The log cabin block! So many beautiful quilts have been made using this versatile patchwork of fabric strips stitched in a concentric spiral around a central square. 

In this full day class participants can expect to learn precision fabric cutting techniques using a rotary cutter, grid ruler and cutting mat. Stitching, piecing and trimming the blocks will fill the afternoon portion of class. Time will be given to experiment with traditional and improvisational patchwork designs.

This class is perfect for people who know how to use a machine but are new to quilting AND for more experienced quilters who want to build on their cutting and piecing skills.
