Students in this workshop will sew patchwork quilt blocks without the limitations of traditional patterns giving results that are often surprising and unexpected. No rigid patterns, templates or precision measuring here; instead, we’ll work in a loose and freeform quilting style focusing on the creative process while maintaining solid design concepts.

Our morning will focus on creating liberated patchwork blocks. In the afternoon, we’ll move on to assembling the blocks with design elements that can help create a cohesive overall quilt top.

Beginners and experienced quilters will enjoy the time in this class to quilt with freedom and intuition.
